I've been given the Life is Good blog award!

The requirements for the Life is Good Award:
1. First, thank and link back to the person that gave the award. (Thank you Nancy!)
2. Answer the 10 survey questions.
3. Pass the award along to other bloggers whom you think are fantastic.
4. Contact the bloggers you have chosen to let them know about the award.

10 Questions:

1. If you blog anonymously, are you happy doing this? If you are not anonymous, do you wish that you had started out anonymously, so that you could be anonymous now?

I use a pen name, but am hardly anonymous since I answer to that name more readily than my real name most of the time. I have to stop and think when I write checks what my real name is now!

2. Describe an incident that shows your inner stubborn side.

Plenty of nights I insist on staying up to write when I do really need the sleep, frustrating my husband when I
don’t listen to his thoughtful reminders to come to bed.

3. What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror?

It’s a happy vision of a person who finally has time to do what she always dreamed of doing with her life without any pretense. Obviously, the Life is Good Award is fitting.

4. What is your favorite summer cold drink?

Iced tea…lots of it…black with fruit flavors or chai.

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do?

I explore nature, going to the beach, bicycling, kayaking. Reading a good book is another way I indulge myself.

6. Is there something that you still want to accomplish in your life? What is it?

I’m on all the paths I really yearned to be on, but I want to follow each one further.

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the class overachiever, the shy person, or always ditching?

I was the straight A student, teacher’s pet type.

8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment in your life, what would you see?

It would be of my father’s death and the last thing he said to me, that he was going to miss me. I liked his feeling of continuance, but it still meant a painful separation…very bittersweet.

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people or events?

I’m pretty open about who I am on my blog, but don’t go on and on about my daily life, thinking it may become boring or too narrow. So, I try to present a variety of topics, personal and non-personal.

10. If you had the choice to sit down and read a book or talk on the phone, which would you do and why?

Easily, pick up a book. I have so many in my TBR pile.

I’ve comprised a list of awesome bloggers that I think more than deserve this award. Don't fret if you don't have time to pass this on. I understand.

I am passing this award on to:
Pamela Turner
Keri Stevens
Taryn Kincaid
