A remarkable beachcombing treasure! Did this magical item belong to the lovely sea goddess whose likeness is carved on the shell? Or was it carried by her lover, carrying some magical remembrance of her to keep them connected while he was away?
Please help me determine who may have used this and in what
way.
In my opinion…I think it belongs to the mermen protectors or
knights of the Sea Queen. They blow through the narrow end of the conch,
emitting a secret signal heard only by each other. In this way, they can
communicate warnings about the approach of dangerous attacks by those seeking
to overthrow the queen’s vast power or thieves intent upon stealing her
collection of rare gems.
