Six Sentence Sunday - January 16th

This week's Six Sentence Sunday is one last snippet from my free read short story, Song for the Silver Merman, available to download as a PDF from my website http://www.marshaamoore.com This story is an "extra" from my book, Tears on a Tranquil Lake, releasing February 1st. It gives a taste of the main characters, the setting, and action of that book as well as introducing a few new characters which will turn up in a sequel I'm presently writing.

In this scene, the heroine, Ciel, and her two mermaid friends are attempting to join in a group of the "popular" mermaids. Ciel is stunned to see how those of the "in group" operate and later, pay a consequence for their irresponsible behaviors.

         We dropped to a lower level, but the mermaids at the point continued taunting as the boat rounded within thirty feet of the point.

         A voice from the deck yelled, “Bring her to! Heave to!”

 The pirates hung far over the gunwale, their eyes bugged out with lust. “Ye’ve got some right big ones, lass; flash ‘em to me again.” “Lovely teets!”

         Suddenly, four ropes with wide stiff loops at their ends flew out from the ship toward the teasing mermaids.

Six Sentence Sunday - December 12th

 In these lines, Martin, the grand wizard, and his love, Heike, are celebrating the rare occasion of a twin full moon rise, alone and away from the dangers of the party.

       He moved his hands to unclasp his cloak covering her bare body. He caressed the fine curves of her hips and cupped her breasts. The garment eased off of her shoulders and fell free onto the ground. His lady stood naked before him, clothed only in the soft light.
       He held his breath at the sight, having never seen her appear more beautiful. The moonglow kissed the tip of her nose, the delicate edge of her collar bones, the swell of her breasts, the ample roundness of her ass. But, her love for him within her eyes glowed brightest.

Six Sentence Sunday - November 14th

These six sentences are a sample from my novelette, Celestial Trigon, posted as a free read PDF on my website http://www.marshaamoore.com The main character, Martin, is a grand wizard who encounters this seductive sylph, intent on detaining him.

She showed no fear to stand before the powerful wizard.

Martin met the gaze of her large, luminous, dark eyes and felt her magic. He encountered sylphs before and knew theirs was no match for his own, but she magnified her magic using the twin celestial powers. 

Against his will, she forced his eyes down, below her finely chiseled face, to trace the curves of her rounded breasts. Her erect nipples tempted him from behind the sheer fabric. She continued to seduce Martin with her magical and feminine wiles, dropping the gauzy bodice down from her bare shoulders, exposing her naked bosom for his view.
