I rarely blog about my book reviews, but this one deserves special attention. I was impressed how Kathryn caught so much that I wove into the subplots of the book. Mind you, this is truly an epic tale and will span five books. Many bits that won’t fully develop until far into the series are introduced in the first volume, Seeking a Scribe. It’s just refreshing to have a reviewer appreciate the nuances of the layers I worked hard to include. A true reward!
